There are numerous educational options in close proximity to Ballantyne Corporate Park highlighted by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System. Over the past five years, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System has gained national recognition for its improvements in reading and mathematics in every grade tested.  Cited as one of four top urban districts in the country, this award highlights the system’s emphasis on achievement and student participation.  Many of the schools in the Ballantyne area have been recognized as some of the strongest in the county and provide challenging programs for children at all grade levels. The performance of these schools directly correlates to the pace of residential and commercial growth in the southern portion of Mecklenburg County. By providing excellent schooling options within minutes of one’s office and home, the Ballantyne area has become a location of choice for many of today’s growing families and therefore, offers an attractive potential employee base from which to recruit.

also available within minutes of Ballantyne. The Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools offer elementary, middle and high school choices all within 15 minutes of the Corporate Park.

Childcare

Whether a parent prefers childcare close to the home or close to the office, by choosing the Ballantyne area both options are possible. Within Ballantyne Corporate Park are The Goddard School and Gateway Academy, which provide a safe environment for your child to grow and develop at an early age.  The Goddard School is located in the heart of the corporate community and the Gateway Academy is in walking distance of Ballantyne Corporate Park and many of the residential developments. There are at least 17 childcare opportunities within 15 minutes of Ballantyne Corporate Park. Most of the childcare options are commercially owned and a few are church-based facilities.
